We run project-based recording sessions that support music education while creating licensed, background-first sound packs for real-world use.

1) School & University Sessions
We partner with music departments to produce recordings that are:

2) Community Recording Programs
We support community ensembles and civic music projects.
When a project fits our catalog standards, it may be distributed as part of our sound library.

Hathor.Studio also produces professional sessions for commercial licensing—instrumental, clean, and voiceover-friendly.
These projects help fund the education lane.

The Reinvestment Model
This is a “closed-loop” program:
education → creation → distribution → reinvestment → education
When recordings are approved for release:
• streaming and licensing revenue helps fund future sessions
• participating schools can be prioritized for reinvestment support
• we can also allocate proceeds to aligned charities or music education initiatives
No school is required to distribute recordings commercially.
Participation is opt-in at every stage.

Rights, Credits, and Ethics
We keep this clean and respectful.
You control participation.
We provide clear agreements that define:
• consent and student protections
• crediting standards
• portfolio usage rights
• what is (and is not) distributed commercially
• how any revenue participation or reinvestment is handled
We do not do “gotcha” paperwork.
If it can’t be explained to a parent or principal in plain English, it doesn’t go in.

How a Session Works
1. Discovery Call
Goals, ensemble size, repertoire, schedule, and intended use.
2. Session Plan
Recording approach, staffing, space needs, permissions, and deliverables.
3. Recording Day
Capture + documentation + basic editorial notes.
4. Post & Deliverables
Edits, mastering (if needed), stems/bounces, metadata, credits, and archive delivery.
5. Optional Distribution
Only if approved and signed for that project.
